Searching for unique things to do in LA this weekend? Come to the Arts District Farmers Market, operated by the Heritage Wellness Collective. The market, launching this spring on June 10, 2023, is a community hub offering a diverse array of fresh produce, local crafts, and now, the soothing, unique tastes of kava, courtesy of Kavahana.
As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, Heritage Wellness Collective is committed to promoting local goods and fostering community engagement. The market, a proud member of the Farmers Market Coalition and the California Alliance of Farmers Markets, opens its doors every Saturday, rain-or-shine, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. With a mission to make fresh, local goods accessible to all, EBT is gladly accepted.
At the heart of the vibrant stalls, discover Kavahana’s pioneering offerings. From the comforting Brown Sugar Kava Milk Tea to the rich Chocolate Cream and the pure Traditional Kava, we bring Pacific Island tradition right to downtown LA. Now, we’re excited to unveil our innovative new addition – the Matcha Kava. A first of its kind, this fusion of the calming kava and energizing matcha brings together wellness and flavor in a revolutionary way.
